I realized, looking on my profile page, that I haven't updated my journal since last October, and that I haven't posted much of anything recently either.

There is a reason for this, as a shit load of things has happened in my life, forcing me to take more time away from my art than I'd like.

First off, in November, my sister moved out (we were room mates), leaving me with an empty house. She took her cat with her, sdo I adopted one, a senior citizen by the name of Midnight, in mid-November, while looking for a roommate. This was greatly unsuccessful.

Christmas season started at work, so things got busy and fast. I work in a Michaels store, the arts and crafts store, so it was a living nightmare, to be honest.

I have worked on my art quite a bit, but there are just quite a few pieces that I have been relatively uninspired to finish, so incomplete they remain. Also, I update or post when I want to, not for the sake of others, and I have been working on some of my fanfiction, too. Most of my readers are well-aware that I don't post often. My work generally gets better and is usually worth the wait. Works for my fiction, anyway.

Work has been very busy, cutting into my time. and in late March, I took an assessment test to find out whether or not my high school english grades from alberta match the BC equivilant in order to go back to school. My goal is to become an ESL teacher, so this was important, and a week after that test, I moved. Again.

On another note, I have a boyfriend now, whom I adore beyond belief, again taking time away from my art, which he encourages greatly and with emphasis. He's such a good guy!

This journal was just to let people know, if they were interested in the first place, what has been going on in life, and projects are ever underway. for example, I have taken up jewelry making, sculpting, and other assorted stuff.

I will always be working on something, so every now and then, something will be posted.
